Track Record and Integrity

Post by Nick

Erap as mayor was good. His performance as senator was very poor. As Vice
President and as Anti-Organized Crime Czar his performance was a big
question mark. As President, he relied on his midnight cabinet. His
imprisonment for plunder gave him historical notes.

Gibo as congressman was just like other congressmen who join the Amen
Hallelujah chorus for MalacaƱang. As Defense Secretary he performed well
during natural disasters. Topping the Bar Exam gives him some points.

Flash Gordon has made several notable achievements as Olongapo Mayor, SBMA
Chairman and Red Cross Chairman. As administration senator he performed his
task for Gloria.

Manny Villar made a name for himself as a man who rose from rags to riches.
As Congressman and Speaker of the house he also left a mark because of his
impeachment speech. As Senator and Senate President the Sword of Damocles
kept hanging over his head because of the C-5 controversy.

Noynoy Aquino as Congressman and Senator did nothing wrong. But it seems he
also did nothing else. He becomes good when his parents are mentioned. Kris
Aquino would see to it that he does.

Eddie Villanueva preaches well. He is straightforward and persuasive. He
knows how to count sheep especially when he is awake.

The other presidentiables have yet to make themselves known.

This time they make promises and pledges. Surely, this is not the first time
we heard pledges and promises. Did Cory, Fidel, Erap, and Gloria fulfill
their promises and pledges? Hehehe!

When will we ever learn?

Extra Note: We're planning to add content in this website through podcasting. What is a podcast? Basically, it's a radio program that can be downloaded as an MP3 or streamed in your computer. We're hoping you can provide some input or vote in the poll if this is a good idea.

additional track record for eddie villanueva:

1. imprisoned twice during martial law, fighting for the rights of the poor and helpless. a UP law student that time and was not able to finish the course becuase of his imprisonment.

2. imprisoned a judge, lawyer, and policemen when he filed a case against a land-grabbing syndicate in bulacan where his family and some of the farmers were victims. take note he was just a college student that time.

3. went to malacanang during marcos time (i think together with other pup students) and challenged marcos to a debate for the grant of 20 hectare land for PUP and it was granted. timely that it is, PUP students should know that a fellow alumna running now for the presidency knows how to resolve their issues now at PUP.

4. days after his wedding, he slept with strikers at a factory in bulacan just to show his support and to be with them in fighting for their rights.

5. longest-seating regent in PUP. gave his honorarium to scholars. (as attested by tom meneses of PUP)

6. graduate of PUP with a degree in economics. became an economics professor in PUP

7. almost forgot, a former student leader/activist at PUP, and was an atheist. but because he was "arrested by Jesus", he was genuinely transformed, changed, renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

please bear in mind that these all happened before he entered politics. as early as his college days he knows what he is doing and what should be done for the love of this nation.

sino pa? EDDIE sya na nga =)

Bro. Eddie for President!
